During this week in 1962, the Beatles released the song "Love Me Do", this would be the first chart success for the Fab Four. The song reached number 1 when it was released in the United States in 1964. The Beatles were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star. When this song was released the 'Lads from Liverpool' were a local band managed by Brian Epstein and signed to EMI Records by George Martin.

After breaking up they each had successful solo recording careers. It is hard to believe that this happened over 45 years ago and they are still influencing music culture today.
